The Golden Mile of Wine, a regional brand and wine tourism project in the province of Valladolid, promoted by the Valladolid Provincial Council, consolidates its leadership and national and international profile in the field of wine tourism and MICE tourism, aligning itself with values of excellence and sustainability.

This recognition is part of the Excelencias Awards, with more than twenty years of history, which are held annually in Spain within the framework of FITUR, and distinguish projects of international scope in the fields of tourism and gastronomy. In addition, the Excelencias Group awards the Excelencias Cuba Awards and the Mágicos México Awards in their respective countries.

In this edition, the Golden Mile of Wine has been distinguished with the “Ramón Álvarez in memoriam Award,” given as an excellent destination in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector. This award is an important recognition that reinforces the Golden Mile’s projection and its positioning as a benchmark in the sector.

The award was officially presented at FITUR and was collected by Francisco Fuentes on behalf of the Valladolid Provincial Council from José Carlos De Santiago, president of the Excelencias Group, and Charo Trabado, CEO of MITM EVENTS.
